Praying for Grandchildren
When grandchildren live troubled lives, it can weigh your heart down with heaviness. You long to reach out and help them, yet because of intricate family relationships, you hold back.

It’s at times like these that it is important to remember that the same God who cares about one sparrow cares much, much more about your loved ones. His love is bigger than any expression of hate, His arms are stronger than any demonic stronghold, and His powers of restoration and healing are infinitely more than our finite mind could ever possibly understand.

Even in places you cannot be for your grandchildren, God is there. He is always with them and will never forsake them. He will bring them through their fiery trials just as He brought Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego through the fiery furnace. And just as God drew you to Him in the midst of your own trials, God will answer your prayers and draw your grandchildren into His arms of comfort, love, and forgiveness.

So keep praying! Keep forgiving! Keep hoping! Remember the words Joseph said when he looked back on his past of family abuse, abandonment, and despair, “As far as I am concerned, God turned into good what was meant for evil.”
